Neil, Pawel and myself founded Six Star EU believing the European Hospitality Industry was being underserved by the existing players in the IT Managed Services market.

3 years on we have discovered that the problem existed Globally and 46 countries, across 5 continents, and new senior management later, we’re doing everything we can to offer clients old and new the best Managed Services experience!

Six Star was founded almost 3 years ago in the belief the we could do IT better. We had an ambitious roadmap that involved building a comprehensive Business Management System and CRM that would for the basis of something really exciting for us. After 18 months of development we are finally ready to launch the first client-facing module of the project. SIX STAR MANAGE.

Six Star Manage is the first step in what will become an intelligent, intuitive one-stop shop for all of your IT Support needs. You will be able to create and manage your IT requests and requirements, build your IT budgets, engage with your IT projects, review the reporting for you property from Six Star and other third party systems, and get simple tasks completed using state-of-the-art AI technology.

Over the next 18 months you will be talking to bots who can reset passwords faster than any human can, there’ll be a desktop app (coming really soon) that can assist in diagnosis of your issues automatically, a mobile App to help you stay better informed about your IT and your property, and we are training up a brand new Six Star employee to help us out . Six Star Global/YOTEL Partnership reaches new heights with the addition of Richard Pemberton to the SSG team!


In what has already been an incredible month for Six Star, we are truly stoked to be able to announce our new Executive Vice President, Global Strategic Development - Richard Pemberton.


Richard joins us from YOTEL Group where he has been leading his team in preparation for the leaner, more innovative, and faster-paced IT operations that will set YOTEL apart from all other hospitality brands.

With Six Star Global as the vehicle for YOTEL’s exciting journey, Richard has come aboard to join YOTEL’s former Program Manager David Manning and VP, Professional Services, Steve Cannings at Six Star Global.  Together, along with the well-established Development Operations team here at SSG, they will give YOTEL’s internal development the Six Star Global octane boost that will secure YOTEL’s place as THE technology hospitality brand of the future.

Using Six Star Global as an incubator for the development of new technologies and services, this exciting new phase of the partnership will show incredible benefits to YOTEL and Six Star alike for years to come.

Six Star Welcomes Their New EVP, Global Program Management!

Please welcome David Manning who is joining the leadership team as EVP Global Program Management. David will be responsible for oversight of enterprise and client projects and programmes keeping them managed to the Six Star standard.

David has a background in Hospitality Project Management, coming to us from YOTEL where he worked as IT Programme Manager, overseeing hotel IT implementation from design and budgeting through to hotel opening, while also spearheading YOTEL corporate projects such as BI, CRM and PMS and many other exciting acronyms! Prior to joining YOTEL, David worked at InterContinental Hotels Group as Global Strategy Programme Manager based at their Denham HQ. David started his foray into the world of hotels with 5 years at Jumeirah Group in Dubai, joining as Commercial Analyst and working his way up to Global Director of Commercial Projects & Sales Excellence.

 A passionate leader and communicator, David has strong project management, business analysis and stakeholder management skills. He is excited to be joining Six Star at this exciting time of growth and looks forward to meeting and working with you all!

Six Star Welcomes their new VP, Global Professional Services!

Please welcome Steve Cannings who will be joining the Six Star Leadership team as our Vice President of Global Professional Services. Steve will be ensuring all projects are delivered using our latest technology and our constantly improving project delivery process. 

Steve’s strong background within management starts from the Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) where Steve worked his way from the ground floor into management. Working with different areas of the business as one team to get everyone performing at their best. 

Steve then moved on to the Unicorn Training Group, one of the UK’s best Learning Management System companies, Steve worked as the Platform Project Manager where he delivered multiple complex corporate projects to scope and budget within a constantly shifting industry. Helping his customers by creating solutions with new digital technologies and thinking to provide a truly personalised and engaging learning experience. 

With his strong managerial background, proven project management skills, enthusiasm, and professionalism, Steve will help strengthen Six Stars Global Professional Services and our relationships with clients.

Six Star welcomes their new VP of Global Program Management, Rob Thomas

Six Star are excited to announce a new addition to the team, Rob Thomas who will be taking the role of VP of Global Program Management. Rob will be leading Key Accounts, Project Management as well as Vendor Relationships.

Rob comes from an extensive background within the IT and Hospitality Industries, specialising in installation and configuration of software and systems, primarily for hotel networks. Rob has previously done some impressive work for Holiday Inn across the globe where he was responsible for the entire IT systems for new openings.

Rob said: “Six Star has such a refreshing approach to supporting hotels, coming from an operational background I have experienced the problems that poor support can affect the operation. I’m looking forward to helping maintain the highest of standards and to work closely with the team who have all been so welcoming.”

Throughout his career, Rob has worked in several amazing locations such as Tanzania, Zurich, Canada, Hong Kong and as close to home as Bristol, UK. He joins Six Star from his most recent role as Business Development Manager at Hoist Group in London. 

CEO, Rich Stakounis said: “Rob’s knowledge and experience will be a huge asset to the team and we couldn’t be happier to have him on board. As Six Star continues to grow we need the best of the best with us, and Rob certainly fits the bill”.

To coincide with HITEC in Amsterdam, Six Star are proud to announce the official opening of the Six Star Netherlands BV offices. Located in the Sloterdijk region of Amsterdam, the office has excellent road and rail links to the Netherlands and Northern Europe. Six Star management and engineers are in the Netherlands all week to attend HITEC and various associated events, so if anyone would like to meet for a chat, coffee or dinner, then please let us know!
